1. Black Pearl English Course (BPEC)

The English/English Development Program is known as the Black Pearl English Course (BPEC). The BPEC program itself began to open in 2016 in the service area of the West Sarmi GKI Klasis, Sarmi Regency. This program then developed and until now has been opened in 14 centers spread throughout the Land of Papua.




2. Clean Water Training

The clean water training program is a training program to introduce the First Flush System (FFS) to the community, especially in areas that depend on clean water sources from rainwater. This program aims to provide knowledge and skills in managing clean water, so that these skills and abilities can be used as a source of income for trainees.

 



3. Teacher Training

To ensure that every tutor who works in the BPEC program, every year we send them to teacher training to upgrade them with the latest teaching methods.

 



4. Days for Girls

Days for Girls is a program to teach/educate young Papuan women about reproductive health and how to maintain reproductive health.

 



5. Vocational Training Program

Occupational training aims to improve the skills and knowledge of Papuan children in certain fields so that they are able to compete in the world of work. The vocational training developed is in the field of tourism & hospitality management (tourism field).

 



6. Health

The health program focuses more on nutrition education and how to provide nutritious food information by utilizing local foods in Papua in an effort to prevent stunting.

 



7. Australia Papua Cultural Exchange Program (APCEP)

To improve English language skills and experience through the support of Black Pearl Network Australia and the Uniting Church in Australia Synod of Western Australia, we select several young people from the BPEC program each year who will take part in a 3-month learning and cultural immersion program in Perth, Australia. Starting in 2023, the APCEP program will be held at Milner International College of English Perth, Australia.
